Egodecor began with a simple belief: the walls we live with should tell a story. In a world of mass-produced prints and flat posters, we set out to create something with real depth, real texture, and real meaning — maps carved from genuine hardwood that turn any room into a record of where you've been and where you're dreaming of going.
What started as a small workshop project has grown into a passion shared by thousands of travelers, families, and design lovers across the United States and beyond. Every map we make carries that same original spirit: craftsmanship you can feel, and a story worth hanging on your wall.
Crafted, Not Printed
Each Egodecor map is built layer by layer from sustainably sourced birch, oak, and walnut. Every continent is individually laser-cut to within 0.1mm, then sanded, stained, and hand-finished by skilled artisans. The result is a three-dimensional piece with genuine wood grain — no two maps are ever exactly alike, because no two pieces of wood are.
We never cut corners on materials. The hardwood we use is kiln-dried for stability, finished with non-toxic oils, and built to last for decades — a piece you'll pass down, not throw away.
